Divorce
Where a marriage has irretrievably broken down
and is being brought to an end, this should be done with the minimum
of distress to the parties and to the children affected, in
a way which seeks to promote as good relations as possible between
the parties and the children and without costs being unreasonably
incurred. In the majority of cases it is possible to use the "special
procedure" which means that the divorce is carried out on paper
and you do not need to attend Court. We will provide you with an
estimate of our charges, including VAT and Court fees.
